Presentation by James R. Case:  Changes to the AIA Standard Form Contracts and EJCDC Form Contracts
James is a graduate of St. John’s University, is a member of the Kerr, Russell and Weber law firm. Jim belongs to the Michigan and Detroit Bar Associations, the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry, and the International Association of Defense Council.
 Presentation by Sarah Chambers: What You Need To Know About Your Professional Services Contract
At Travelers, Sarah specializes in handling professional liability claims for architects and engineers.  Prior to joining Travelers, Sarah was in private practice with a large law firm in Atlanta, Georgia practicing law as a litigation defense attorney.  While in private practice, Sarah handled all aspects of dispute resolution and litigation for corporations, organizations and individuals from routine disputes to multi-party litigation.  Before attending law school, Sarah worked as an engineering consultant and program manager on construction projects of all sizes throughout the United States. 
Sarah received a B.S. in Management and Minor in Marketing, summa cum laude, from Georgia Tech. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law. While at Georgia State College of Law, she served as Business Editor for the Georgia State Law Review.  She was also a member of the Georgia State College of Law Moot Court team and was a Finalist in the 2011 Georgia Intrastate Moot Court Competition.
 Presentation by Thomas F. Waggoner: OSHA Inspections and Citations
Thomas F. Waggoner is a shareholder of Straub, Seaman & Allen, P.C. with offices in Michigan and Indiana. Tom completed his B.A. at Indiana State University, summa cum laude, his J.D. at the University of Notre Dame Law School, and his L.L.M. in Taxation at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts in Michigan and Indiana and the United States Tax Court.  The primary focus of his practice is the representation of architects and engineers.
