Exclusions in Kidnap & Ransom Policies

In many parts of the world, company executive and even their family members are at risk of kidnap and ransom. However, there may be some exclusions in your policy that you are not aware of.

Exclusions in Kidnap

Most policies exclude dishonest, criminal, or fraudulent acts committed by and insured person. It can also exclude the surrender of property inside the premises unless first brought inside after receipt of the ransom demand, or outside the premises as a result of a threat to do bodily harm to a person in possession of property.
